DIN 14800-9:2025-08

This document applies to tool chests containing metalworking and woodworking tools frequently used in firefighting operations, and which are carried on fire-fighting and rescue service vehicles as firefighting equipment. Whenever possible, standardized tools and items have been used during assembly. This document notes that, if there is sufficient space and capacity, the contents of the chests may be supplemented as desired. The amendment to the previous edition of DIN 14800-9 from December 2013 has been carried out in order to update the chest contents to reflect current standards. The standard differs from the December 2013 edition of DIN 14800-9 as follows: - contents of the Metal 1 and Metal 2 tool chests have been completely revised; - normative references updated. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-04-09 AA "Sonstige Ausrüstung - SpA zu CEN/TC 192/WG 5" ("Other equipment - mirror committee of CEN/TC 192/WG 5") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
