Cages for transport of delivery hoses are specially designed containers used by fire brigade for ready for operation storage, transport, and deployment of delivery hoses type B, C and D with couplings in accordance with DIN 14811. Type STK-B cages for transport of delivery hoses can accommodate two B-20-K delivery hoses, while type STK-C cages for transport of delivery hoses can accommodate three C-42-15-K or three C-52-15-K delivery hoses. Type STK-D cages for transport of delivery hoses can accommodate two C-42-15-K delivery hoses, two C-52-15-K delivery hoses, or three D-15-K delivery hoses. The amendment to document DIN 14827-1:2019-12 has been prepared in order to clarify the requirements and testing of the side wall with regard to perpendicular load-bearing capacity. The amendment to the document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-04-09 AA "Sonstige Ausrüstung - SpA zu CEN/TC 192/WG 5" ("Other equipment - mirror committee of CEN/TC 192/WG 5") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
