DIN 15159-2:2017-01

This document specifies requirements and tests for four-way flat pallets according to DIN EN 13382 with the dimensions 800 mm × 600 mm × 160 mm with regard to physical properties. The pallets are made of polyolefins and used in closed pool systems. Pallets according to this standard comply with Directive 94/62/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 December 1994 on packaging and packaging waste; they are intended for use in general (mixed) goods distribution. DIN 15159-3 applies to the equipping of pallets with identification techniques. This document, in conjunction with identification techniques, serves as a basis for the design of transport chains between producers of commercial products in the food and non-food sectors.
