DIN 16001:2025-12

DIN 16001 contains specifications for mechanical pressure gauges that have not previously been covered by the European series of standards EN 837. This document specifies requirements for indicating pressure gauges with helical Bourdon tube for measuring overpressure in high pressure applications. It applies to pressure gauges with a dial featuring a scale and pointer for measurement ranges greater than 1 600 bar and for nominal sizes 100 and 160. This document contains specific test procedures for conducting type and production unit tests. This document also applies to liquid-filled pressure gauges. This document does not apply to pressure gauges intended for use with oxygen or acetylene. This document does not apply to pressure gauges intended for electrical limit signal output; such gauges are covered by DIN 16085.
