DIN 16271:2025-12

This document is part of the standards program for accessories for mechanical pressure gauges. This document applies to valves with test connection for maximum allowable pressures of 250 bar (brass) or 400 bar (steel and stainless steel) and a maximum allowable temperature of 120 °C for pressure gauges in pressure measuring arrangements for liquids, gases, or vapors. Two types are specified: Type A (with clamping sleeve) and Type B (with nipple connection and shaft for measuring instrument supports according to DIN 16281). This document does not specify flat sealing rings; DIN EN 837-1 applies to these. DIN 16270 applies to PN 250 and PN 400 values without test connection. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 152-04-01 AA "Mechanische Druck- und Temperaturmessgeräte" ("Mechanical gauges for pressure and temperature") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG).
