DIN 16287:2025-05

DIN 16287 is part of the series of standards for accessories for mechanical pressure gauges. This document applies to sealing caps with sealing lenses for sealing test connections on shut-off valves in accordance with DIN 16271, and protective hoods for test connections on shut-off cocks in accordance with DIN 16263 and shut-off valves in accordance with DIN 16272, for pressure gauges at a maximum permissible temperature of 120 °C and a nominal pressure of PN 400 (corresponding to the maximum permissible pressure PS in bar at room temperature). This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 152-04-01 AA "Mechanische Druck- und Temperaturmessgeräte" ("Mechanical gauges for pressure and temperature") at DIN Standards Committee Technical Fundamentals (NATG).
