DIN 16456-3:2017-10

This standard applies to sheet-pile buildings based on plastic sheet pilings made of extruded plasticizer-free polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U). This part of the standard specifies requirements, recommendations and instructions for the construction of permanent or temporary sheet pile wall structures and for the handling of equipment and materials required for this purpose. This part of the standard does not specify requirements and recommendations for the construction of specific parts of the structure, such as earth anchors and piles, which are covered by other standards. Constructions made of different materials, such as Berlin type pit lining (Berliner Verbau) or sheet pile walls with sprayed concrete, are not subject to this standard.
