Overview

This standard shall be applied to the nature and extent of minimum equipment of electrical installations in residential buildings (such as multiple-unit dwellings, terrace houses, single-family dwellings), excluding equipment for plant rooms. It shall also be applied for such installations which are equipped with home and building electronic systems. DIN 18015-4 includes information about the extent of the equipment of installations equipped with building management systems. It does not include specifications with regards to transfer technologies for information and communication applications.
