DIN 18157-1:2017-04

This standard applies to the execution of wall coverings and floor coverings with ceramic tiles and plates (for example, in accordance with DIN EN 14411 including mosaics, decorative and molded parts), floor clinker tiles in accordance with DIN 18158 as well as natural and artificial stone by thin mortar bed technique with cement-based mortars in accordance with DIN EN 12004-1 in interior and exterior areas. This standard also applies to other types of tiles and plates, for example glass mosaic, resin-bonded tiles and plates. This standard does not apply to resilient and textile coverings and wood building materials. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-09-82 AA "Keramische Fliesen und Platten (SpA CEN/TC 67 und ISO/TC 189)" ("Ceramic tiles (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 67 and ISO/TC 189)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
