Overview
This standard specifies a method for the determination of the fire resistance time of chimneys and shafts for chimneys with regard to external fire load. This standard does not apply for: - horizontal chimneys; and - chimneys and shafts which are not closed on all sides. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-11-39 AA "Abgasanlagen (Spiegelausschuss von CEN/TC 166, CEN/TC 166/WG 1 und WG 2)" ("Chimneys (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 166 and CEN/TC 166/WG 1 and WG 2)") at DIN.
