ATV DIN 18385 "Installation of lifts, escalators, passenger conveyors and materials handling equipment" has been technically revised by the German Committee for Construction Contract Procedures (DVA). The title of the ATV has been changed with regard to the order in which it is listed. The first on the list now are the elevator systems. Among other things, the references to VOB/A have been updated. This standard deals with installations designed to remain permanently in one place and to convey passengers or goods between predetermined access or landing levels.
