This document specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods for earth blocks manufactured in factories. Earth blocks manufactured in factories are primarily used for construction of exterior and interior walls and for infill panels. For the application, the Lehmbau-Regeln (German regulations for building with earth) apply. This standard is not applicable for stabilized earth blocks. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-06-08 AA "Lehmbau" ("Construction materials made of earth") at DIN.
