Overview

This standard specifies requirements for technical buffer solutions. These buffer solutions are preferably used for the calibration of technical pH measuring installations as well as pH measuring equipment in plant laboratories. Measurement methods are recommended by means of which pH and buffer values of such buffer solutions on the basis of pH reference buffer solutions in accordance with DIN 19266 can be determined. Examples for technical pH buffer solutions are given in informative Annex A. This document (DIN 19267:2012-09) has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-09-21 AA "pH-Messtechnik" ("pH measurement technique") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN.
