This document has been prepared to unify the definitions of some general and specific terms and their use in the field of the paperboard processing industry. It shall also relieve the trade and exchange of goods. This document considers: - general terms and definitions used, in part, in the paperboard processing industry, but which are not, however, directly connected with paperboard; - types of paperboard which should only be differentiated by the types of fibres used during manufacture, such as "primary fibres" and "secondary fibres".
