Overview
This product standard contains specifications for the durability of materials for which DIN EN 1433 refers to national specifications. It applies to principles of construction, marking, testing and monitoring of drainage channels suitable for discharge of precipitation water from vehicular and pedestrian areas. The standard deals in particular with aspects of long-term usability of these products. During a revision of DIN EN 1433 the aim is to incorporate the specifications contained in the standard into the European Standard. At DIN the responsible Committee is NA 119-05-01-02 UA "Entwässerungsrinnen (CEN/TC 165/WG 4/AHG 2)" ("Drainage channels (CEN/TC 165/WG 4/AHG 2)").
