DIN 1986-3:2024-05

This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 119-05-02 AA "Entwässerungsanlagen für Gebäude und Grundstücke" ("Sewage systems for buildings and sites"). This document applies to the operation, inspection, and maintenance of drainage systems for buildings and sites in accordance with DIN EN 752, DIN EN 12056 (all parts), and DIN 1986 (all parts). This document provides guidelines and assistance for owners or authorized users (operators) to operate and maintain property drainage systems in accordance with their intended use, so that public law regulations and generally accepted rules of technology are complied with. This document is to be used in conjunction with DIN 1986-30. The standard differs from DIN 1986-3:2004-11 as follows: a) the standard has been editorially revised; b) Table 1 and Table A.1 from DIN 1986-3:2004-11 have been combined into one table (Table 1), restructured, reorganized, and adapted to the state of the art; c) The information on maintenance intervals in Table 1 has been updated.
