This standard specifies requirements for the quality-compliant execution of structural, specifically load-transmitting, bonded joints along the bonding process chain, from development through production to repair. In addition, safety classes are defined into which each bonded joint covered by this standard shall be classified. This document has been prepared by Working Group NA 092-00-28-01 AK "Prozesskette Klebtechnik" ("Adhesive bonding process chain") of Working Committee NA 092-00-28 AA "Klebtechnik (DVS AG V 8)" ("Adhesive bonding technology (DVS AG V 8)") at DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes.
