This standard applies to glove boxes in accordance with DIN 25412-1. It specifies the acceptance test, commissioning test and regular periodic tests. The standard specifies procedures for testing the tightness of glove boxes and for determining the leakage rate. The test procedures according to Clauses 3 and 4 also apply to contamination protection boxes for alpha-gamma cells.
