Overview
This document shall be applied for in-service inspections for reactor coolant circuit components of light water reactors and their installations as direct or remote visual testing in the form of an a) integral visual testing; b) selective visual testing. This document is also applicable to other components of nuclear installations. It specifies test methods that allow deviations from the expected state to be recognised, requirements for the equipment technology and test personnel, the preparation and performance of the testing as well as the recording. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-07-47 AA "Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung in der Kerntechnik" ("Non-destructive testing in nuclear technology") at DIN.
