The standard has been revised and prepared by Section Nuclear technology (FB 7), Working Committee NA 062-07-48 AA "Betriebsüberwachung - Kerntechnik" ("Operational monitoring - Nuclear technology"). Requirements for the monitoring system, its putting into service and operation, monitoring and documentation are specified for the purpose of early detection, location and assessment of loose parts within the pressure-containing enclosure of the reactor cooling agent so as to prevent consequential damages.
