This document applies to ventilating components of ventilation classes 1 and 2 in nuclear power plants (see KTA3601) and to comparable components in other nuclear facilities, provided that these components are relevant to radiation protection. This document also applies to facilities undergoing decommissioning. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-07-55 AA "Hilfssysteme und Betriebsüberwachung in kerntechnischen Anlagen" ("Auxiliary systems and operational monitoring in nuclear facilities") at DIN Standard Committee Materials Testing (NMP).
