This standard specifies dimensions, flange types and designations for weld flanges for pressure vessels. In the standards DIN 28032, DIN 28036 and DIN 28038 different types of process vessel flanges based on the same design principle are described. These are summarized in DIN 28033. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 012-00-01 AA "Anlagenteile" ("Process equipment") of the Chemical Apparatus Standards Committee (FNCA).
