Overview

This standard allows for a pre-selection of the nominal size of support brackets and is to be used for support brackets with a reinforcing plate on apparatuses. In the course of the withdrawal of DIN 28083-2, the manufacturer shall in future provide proof of the strength of the vessel wall in terms of the bracket support load. This procedure has been taken into account during preparation of the standard.
