This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 032-02-09 AA "Außenkorrosion" ("External corrosion"). The previous version of DIN 30670 was published in 1991 and was not allowed to be revised for a long time due to various attempts of standardization on the European level. This newly revised version of DIN 30670 now covers not only the scopes not covered by ISO 21809-1 and DIN EN 10288, but also takes into account the current state of the art. This does not only concern the newly incorporated tests and test frequencies, but also various product requirements.
