This document is applicable to roller contact tipper vehicles with a maximum gross mass not exceeding 32 t, interchangeable body systems, and roller containers. Annex E also applies for roller contact tipper vehicles with a total permissible mase of 40 t. The height of the mounting device amounts to 1 570 mm (System 1570). This document specifies: - requirements (including acceptance) for roller contact tipper vehicles; - requirements for the interchangeable body system; - requirements for roller containers. Roller contact tipper vehicles consist of an interchangeable body system (see 5.3) and a chassis and serve to transport roller containers in accordance with 5.4. The interchangeable body system is used to load and unload roller containers onto and off roller contact tipper vehicles and to empty them. The roller containers are used to accommodate materials for transport. The specifications for interchangeable body systems and roller containers in this document ensure the interchangeability of roller containers.
