DIN 30723-1:2025-06

This document specifies the dimensions and requirements for multi-bucket system vehicles and swiveling devices, as well as a data sheet for the bodywork that is used for multi-bucket system vehicles for communication between the purchaser, the vehicle manufacturer, and the body manufacturer. This document is applicable to swiveling devices for containers in accordance with DIN 30720-1, DIN 30720-2, and DIN 30730. The revision emphasizes that vehicles with a single rocker hook, the option of engaging only one single rocker hook, and/or containers with a single rocker bearing no longer represent the state of the art. This document has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Municipal Services (NKT), Working Committee NA 051-03-01 AA "Abfallentsorgung; Fahrzeuge und Geräte (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 2)" ("Waste disposal; Vehicles and equipment (Mirror committee to CEN/TC 183/WG 2)") following preparatory work in Working Group NA 051-03-01-07 AK "Abroll- und Absetzkipperfahrzeuge und dazugehörige Behälter" ("Roller contact tipper vehicles and multi-bucket system vehicles and their associated devices").
