Overview

This standard specifies attachments that are suitable for holding hand operated square drive socket wrenches in accordance with DIN 3120. The test torques, the test conditions and the hardness of the attachments according to this standard are in accordance with International Standard ISO 3316:2012. The standard differs from DIN 3123:1989-03 as follows: a) normative references updated; b) Form D attachment with a spiral ratchet screwdriver shank deleted; c) standard editorially amended. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-01 AA "Schraubwerkzeuge, Fügewerkzeuge" ("Assembly tools for screws and nuts, Fastening tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
