DIN 3129:2012-03

This German standard specifies product requirements for power-driven square drive socket wrenches which are listed in ISO 1703 under reference number 2 2 02 01 0. In addition to the dimensions and tolerances for various sizes of socket wrenches with widths across flats between 3,2 mm and 115 mm, the DIN standard gives information on the design, the material to be used, standard designation as well as labelling of these tools. Furthermore, a torque test has been standardized. An informative annex provides explanations on the relationship with International Standard ISO 2725-2. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-01 AA "Schraubwerkzeuge, Fügewerkzeuge" ("Assembly tools for screws and nuts; joining tools") of the Tools and Clamping Devices Standards Committee (FWS).
