DIN 3280-1:2017-11

This standard is considered an overview for metallic tapered unions and threaded components for domestic water supply PN 10. The standards DIN 3280:1988-04, DIN 3281: 1988-04, DIN 3283:1988-04, DIN 3284:1988-04, DIN 3285:1988-04, DIN 3287:1988-04, DIN 3289: 1988-04 and DIN 329:1988-041 have been combined in the standards DIN 3280-1 and DIN 3280-2. The aforementioned standards will be withdrawn upon publication of DIN 3280-1 and DIN 3280-2. Some terms have been systematically revised. The normative references have been revised in the course of preparation of the standard. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 003-02-02 AA "Armaturen für die Trinkwasserinstallation in Gebäuden" ("Valves for potable water supply in buildings") at Standards Committee Valves (NAA). This standard has been prepared in agreement with DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e. V. (DVGW German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). It has been incorporated into the DVGW's water regulations as a DVGW technical rule.
