This standard applies for requirements and tests for gas connection valves and safety hose assemblies with permissible working pressures up to 500 mbar which are operated with gases in accordance with DVGW Worksheet G 260. The requirements for the single components are regulated either in European Standards or in this standard. This standard describes the requirements and tests for the entire system, but without the hose.
