DIN 3384-1:2024-04

This document has been prepared by Working NA 032-03-02 AA "Bauteile und Hilfsstoffe - Gas" ("Components and auxiliary materials - Gas") at DIN Standards Committee Gas Technology (NAGas) of the German Institute for Standardization e. V. This document specifies the nationally allowable connection types for corrugated metal hose assemblies made of stainless steel according to DIN EN 16617:2015-07 for gases of the second and third gas families according to DIN EN 437 and gases according to DVGW G 260 (A) (but not for liquefied gas in the liquid phase) with a nominal diameter up to and including DN 300 and a maximum allowable operating pressure PS less than or equal to 1,6 MPa (16 bar). When using gases enriched with hydrogen in accordance with DVGW G 260 (A), where the hydrogen content exceeds 20 Vol.-%, Annex A shall be taken into account. The present document is based on DIN 3384:2007-08. All requirements and tests that are regulated in DIN EN 16617:2015-07 have been deleted from this document, with the exception of the design of the connections which are not part of DIN EN 16617:2015-07.
