The document defines terms for test tubes, test tube pumps and accessories for test tube measuring equipment in three languages and applies to measuring methods and test tube measuring equipment in accordance with Part 1 of this series of standards. As part of the revision of the existing edition of the standard, the terminology used has been adapted to DIN EN ISO 17621 where necessary. The standard is the responsibility of Working Committee NA 095-03-01 AA "Messstrategien und Anforderungen an Messverfahren" ("Measurement strategies and requirements for test methods") at DIN Standards Committee Safety Design Principles (NASG).
