This standard specifies the properties for bolts with external hexalobular driving feature with small flange, with coarse and fine pitch thread, with nominal thread diameters from 4 mm to 20 mm, with property classes 8.8 and 10.9 for steel and A2-70 and A4-70 for stainless steel, in product grades A and B. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 067-00-02 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Außengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric external threads") at DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
