This standard specifies properties for standardized and non-standardized bonded abrasive segments, honing tools abrasive bars and grindstones. These properties form the basis for communication, for instance between users and suppliers. A further aim is the categorization of these properties in conformity classes, amongst others, for unification of the data exchange. This standard has been prepared by the Product Property Standards Committee, NA 128-00-03-01 UA "Merkmallisten Schleifwerkzeuge" ("List of properties for abrasive products").
