This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-07-04 AA "Tabular layouts of properties for gearing tools" at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS). This standard specifies characteristics for standardized and non-standardized pinion type and skiving cutters with bore or shank for involute gearing. This standard differs from DIN 4000-143:2011-02 as follows: a) Figures 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 have been added and revised; b) two figures each have been created from Figure 3 and Figure 7; c) indications of parameter have been revised; d) characteristics in Table 1 and Table 4 have been added and revised; e) normative references have been updated; f) characteristics in conformance classes have been added.
