This standard specifies properties for standardized and non-standardized master gears and truing gears for involute teeth. These properties form the basis for communication, for instance between users and suppliers. A further aim is the categorization of these properties in conformity classes, amongst others, for unification of the data exchange. The draft standard has been prepared by Working Group NA 128-00-03-02 AK "Merkmallisten Schleifwerkzeuge" ("List of properties for abrasive products") at NSM.
