DIN 4000-86:2017-11

This standard specifies characteristics for standardized and non-standardized drilling and countersinking tools for indexable inserts. The tools described in this standard can be both adjustable and non-adjustable. The standard differs from DIN 4000-86:2011-03 as follows: a) block structure has been added; b) conformity classes have been transferred to the MCO system; c) identification of parameter changed: A11, A12, B1, B2, G11, J41, J42, J51, J52; d) identification of parameter added: A64, B9, C14, C15, C54, C55, E7, E6, J6; e) identification of parameter removed: A21, A22, D12, E2, G12, J91, J92; f) sample sketch added for E6, E7; g ) figure changed in Table 5 "Clamping diameter for interchangeable guide pins"; h) figure (ID 9) added in Table 7 "Cooling lubricant outlet"; i) Subclause 4.4 "Block structure" and Tables 8, 9 and 10 added; j) Clause 5 revised: classification into conformity classes replaced by MCO method; k) images adapted: Figure 2, Figure 5, Figure 7, Figure 8; l) Figure 11 "Chamfer ring" and Figure 12 "Countersink" added; m) characteristic D51 format changed from INT 2 to INT 1 ; n) Subclause 3.2 added; o) the characteristic profile form (at the bottom of the hole) and characteristics for specifying the interface coding according to ISO/TS 13399-60 added.
