This standard is applicable for circular prefabricated hinged manhole components made of concrete and reinforced concrete. These are used for construction of manholes for well and drain constructions. The revision was required due to necessary adaption to new editions of cited standards. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 119-05-33 AA "Rohre und Schächte aus Beton für Abwasserkanäle und -leitungen (CEN/TC 165/WG 9)" ("Concrete pipes and manholes for drains and sewers (CEN/TC 165/WG 9)") at the Water Practice Standards Committee at DIN.
