This standard provides the explanatory basis for DIN 4109-32 to DIN 4109-36. DIN 4109-32 to DIN 4109-36 contain acoustical data of components and constructions that may be used without building acoustics tests in sound insulation verifications within the scope of the calculation methods specified in DIN 4109-2. Since these "simplified calculation methods" work with single-number values independent of frequency, all data in parts 32 to 36 of the DIN 4109 series of standards are also given exclusively as single-number values.
