This standard applies to round monofilament yarns, including synthetic wires of synthetic polymers of nominal diameters from 5 mm to 0,028 mm, used for the manufacture of textile sieve trays. Compared to DIN 4196: 1984-07, the following changes have been made: a) normative references updated. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-11-41 AA "Siebe, Siebung, SpA zu ISO/TC 24 und ISO/TC 24/SC 8" ("Sieving and sieves, national mirror committee for ISO/TC 24 and ISO/TC 24/SC 8") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
