This standard specifies requirements for size G 1/8 to G 6 (hexagon and octagon) pipe nuts with thread in accordance with DIN EN ISO 228-1 and of product grades B and C. Along with editorial adaptations and amendments, the specifications for stainless steel have been revised with respect to the current standard. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 067-00-03 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Innengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric internal thread") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV) at DIN.
