By the use of new tools and measurement methods it has been established that the dimension 16,3 + 0,2 - 0,3 of the dropper clamp in accordance with DIN 43147-1 is parallel to the body edge but has always been measured parallel to the centre line. The current kind of measuring is correct; therefore the dimension in the standard has to be changed. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 351.2 "Ortsfeste Anlagen" ("Fixed installations") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
