The standard specifies terminal and mounting dimensions of single-support earthing switches according to DIN EN 62271-102 (VDE 0671-102) with a rated voltage of 420 kV. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 432.1 "Hochspannungs-Schaltgeräte" ("High-voltage switchgear") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
