DIN 4425:2017-04

This document specifies the design requirements for lightweight scaffolding spindles and regulates their structural safety verification. It also serves to determine the resistances and stiffnesses of lightweight steel scaffolding spindles with rolled or rolled-on threads that are used as components of working scaffolds (see DIN EN 12811-1), shoring (see DIN EN 12812) and other temporary structures for height compensation at the base or top of a scaffold. This document does not apply to scaffolding spindles with machined threads.
