These two German standards specify product requirements for offset-type and straight-pattern crank handles. These crank handles are used for manual operation and adjustment in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, for machine tools, etcetera. In addition to the types of construction, the dimensions and tolerances for different sizes of crank handles in the crank-length range between 63 mm and 315 mm as well as their standard designations are specified. Furthermore, both DIN standards contain information on the material to be used and on the design of the components. These German standards have been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-06-01 AA "Bedienteile" ("Handles").
