The standard has been prepared by NA 041-01-45 AA "Wassererwärmer (SpA CEN/TC 164/WG 10)" ("Water heaters (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 164/WG 10)") at NHRS. It applies to the corrosion protection on the water side of steel tanks by means of hot-setting resin-bonded tank linings. This standard contains specifications which are not covered by the title and scope of DIN EN 12897 "Water supply - Specification for indirectly heated unvented (closed) storage water heaters" and which can, as a result, be nationally regulated.
