The standard has been prepared by NA 041-01-45 AA "Wassererwärmer (SpA CEN/TC 164/WG 10)" ("Water heaters (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 164/WG 10)") at NHRS. It applies to the corrosion protection on the water side of steel tanks by means of natural or synthetic rubber tank linings. This standard contains specifications which are not covered by the title and scope of DIN EN 12897 "Water supply - Specification for indirectly heated unvented (closed) storage water heaters" and which can, as a result, be nationally regulated.
