Overview
This standard applies to requirements, examinations and marking of manually operated safety hose connector clutches and hose connector clutches for the withdrawal of LPG in accordance with DIN 51622 in the gaseous phase from LPG line plants, for example, in vehicles and boats, with a permissible operating pressure (PS) = 5 bar, a temperature range of -30 °C to 70 °C and the nominal size DN 4. Explanations to the Niederdruckanschlussverordnung (NADV) (Ordinance for low pressure gas supply) are given in Annex A. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 032-03-04 AA "Flüssiggas" ("Liquefied petroleum gas") at DIN.
