DIN 5059-2:2012-04

This document applies for cylindrical plastic tubes (mono and coex) in accordance with DIN EN 13045. It is also applicable for non-standardized commercially available tubes. The purpose of these specifications to state the dimensions of the tube nozzles with tube nozzle opening and tube thread. The following modifications have been made with respect to the previous document DIN 5059-2:1990-06: a) the normative references have been updated; b) clause "Terms and definitions" has been incorporated; c) in clause "Tube nozzles, shape CK" "buttress thread" (see 5.4) has been incorporated in addition to the trapezoidal thread (see 5.3); d) designations have been adopted to DIN EN 12374 (for example, d₁, d₂, d₃); e) push on version has been incorporated (see 5.6); f) editorially revised. The revision has been made by Working Committee NA 115-02-08 AA "Tuben" ("Tubes") of the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
