DIN 5060:2011-04

This document specifies tube open end closures for cylindrical metallic tubes (M) according to DIN EN 13046 and for conical metallic tubes (N) according to DIN EN 13047 which are manufactured by folding. Furthermore, it specifies tube open end closures for cylindrical plastic tubes (K) according to DIN EN 13045 and for cylindrical laminated tubes (L) according to DIN EN 13461 which are manufactured by welding. The following amendments have been made with respect to the previous 1985 edition: a) title changed; b) normative references updated; c) Figures 2 and 3 changed, this means design "smooth" maintained; d) designation examples amended; e) dimensions in tables changed; f) editorial amendments. The responsible Working Committee is NA 115-02-08 AA "Tuben" ("Tubes") of the Packaging Standards Committee (NAVp).
